One of the traditions at NTU Hall of Residence Five is the annual Dinner & Dance. The Hall Anniversary Party (HAPz), formally known as Dinner & Dance Committee, is part of the Special Committee family and works to plan and execute a D&D that is both invigorating and unforgettable for the residences of Hall Five. This annual D&D serves to strengthen the bond between seniors and juniors; and at the same time allow the residents to let their hair down and party the night away. The highlight of the D&D is of course the birth of the new Hall King and Hall Queen. This year's Annual Dinner & Dance is a highly anticipated event that will sure delight one and all. HAPz is also involved in our annual Seniors' Farewell, where we gather to celebrate the graduation year of our graduating batch and wish them all the best for the FYPs, namely their final year projects and those who are still Finding Your Partners.
Hall Five Orientation Committee is affectionately known as H.A.V.O.C. The name tells it all! We create and wreck HAVOC during our annual Freshman Orientation Camp! Our dedicated team of HAVOCers painstakingly plan the FOC for an entire year just to give our incoming freshmen a fun-filled and memorable camp to kick start their hall life. Hope you had your fair share of fun during FOC and now it is your chance to recreate this experience for the next batch of incoming freshies! “There are no strangers in this world, only friends we haven’t met!” – William Butler Yeats Visit our Facebook page here! The preparation work is done entirely by Fivers - from writing scripts to building sets to composing of original masterpieces. "There are only two types of people in the world. Vikings is Hall V's very own cheerleading team. Established in 2008, passion has always been the fuel of their motivation. The blood, sweat and tears of the generation of Vikings resulted in the tight-knit committee that still remains as motivated as ever, no matter the results, for it is the journey that brings them together and bond these individuals into one team. With a genuine love for cheerleading and a growing love for each other, the safety of one and all is always of priority. No matter if you're a past, present or future viking, we train with hearts of passion and souls of steel. Don't let the fear of falling keep you from flying.
