Since 2001, S.T.A.R. Productions has been one of the four main committees in Nanyang Technological University's Hall of Residence One, and has been contributing extensively towards the hall's vibrant and dynamic performance culture. S.T.A.R. Productions is also the biggest performing group in NTU Hall of Residence One and the committees have been producing musicals based on original scripts and music written by the young talents of Hall One. The committees have traditionally been using live bands to provide the best entertainment to students and public alike. The self- composed songs written have received numerous positive feedbacks for the 10 consecutive years of performances.

With its annual original, LIVE musicals featuring our LIVE band as an added defining feature, S.T.A.R.S. Productions continues to foster a greater appreciation for the Arts in the hall, while continuing to share the enriching experience of LIVE theatre production with residents, year after year. We are therefore a community of dedicated thespians with the passion to share our love for the theatre by creating exciting, meaningful and most of all, entertaining original LIVE musicals of the highest production and performative quality possible, and will continue to do so for years to come.
